in-between

A Poem by knightcall

watching you
sitting on top of this satellite
i've seen you much closer
but sometimes i have to enter the stars
in order to dream
lately i've been beset by speculation
that i cannot predict anymore
than i can predict sunspots
i just know a connection has been made between
space and close
i see the silver of your city
spotted by trails of ruby stone
and this bird miles above you
catches the sparkle with both eyes
free fall back to a change
a change from
far to near

A very beautiful poem Sir Knight. Almost an other worldly quality about it. Well done. Keep on penning.

Two worlds, two people, on a more than possible collision course? Fluent words, finely threaded in a quiet, contented way and moments to spare, time to think, looking forward. A very calm, and serene poem. I really enjoyed reading it. A real good feel good poem. Thanks for posting it. It was just what I needed in my day. Excellent writing!
