A Poem by knightcall

i don't know your name

i know this not so secret image of you

i know that you're kind

you're a volume of mystery

and i'm sure you know nothing of my interest

i go in blind

not knowing if you fill the box with a

S, M, D, or W

maybe i'm a fool

easily captured by carats of shine

just know

the tiger in this cage is

raring to get out

this tiger locks eyes with yours

eyes full of wonder

a heart waiting to be completed

this tiger is ready

Reminds me for some reason of the old game red light green light. And the mention of "carats of shines" gives me the picture of sapphires...no clue why. Well, maybe a tiny one. But the tiger? Ah, gorgeous creature. White fur, black stripes, and ice blue eyes. Staring out of that cage with those ice blue eyes...that's bound to be a thrillingly frightening experience to lock eyes with a tiger.

I absolutely love this poem Sir Knight of Romance. I especially love the last stanza. Something about a tiger in a cage pacing, impatient to be released is so very stimulating a picture. Well done. Keep on penning.
