this channel has lost signal

got myself home

having blown a few horns

release me from this monkey suit

put on a T

and some swaying shorts

 

sing a love song cause that’s the thing to do

release myself from the things i had been through

 

my legs explode and then they ache

my day started

two hours before i was supposed to wake

 

i felt lost

 i felt the rule to the exception

whatever was firing

wasn’t picked up by my reception

 

so i turn on the water

and let it stream over me

it’s the first time today baby

i’ve felt free
