You are the reason.

You are why I am not afraid of anything. 

You are the reason for my lies.

You are why I must face the truth.

 

You made me careful.

You are the reason I don’t care.

You made me emotionally unstable.

You are the cause of this heart of stone.

 

You are why I avoid confrontation.

You made me the fighter I am today.

You supported me.

You knocked me down.

 

You made me cry.

You are the one I call when I’m crying.

You don’t even know me.

You are the only one that understands me.

 

You are responsible for my determination.

You are why I always quit.

You are the reason I grew up so fast.

You are why I always feel like a child.

 

You are the reason I believe in myself.

You are why I have so many doubts.

You share my goals, dreams, and aspirations.

You are everything I don’t want to become.
