Sunshine

Sunshine

A Poem by Melody
"

1:21am 6/11

"

These voices are calling
I know that you're falling
Please don't try to hide
Of how you feel inside

No matter the say
I'm worried everyday
I don't want to sit and wait
For the day you may go away

It's never your fault
When the darkest shadow calls
Or if the sharpest pain has your skin crawl
I love you through it all
But I would die if I see you fall

I know its a long bridge
Through every hard hinge
And I will never understand
This dark twisted land
Where I wish to give you a hand,
Its like you're in sinking sand

And that's my truest fear
My deepest, breaking tear

I know this pain is dark and long
But I can never stop the fear of you being gone

This strange wish of a song
Is the place I know you belong

In the sunshine
Where you are mine
Where I just wish for you to be fine

The sweet line
Where You are my sunshine
No more surfing sharp tides
Where our faces don't hide
Where I am always by your side
