Inside my aching vision

Is where you always live in

This path I don't understand
Sinks me in your doubting sand
I feel the fill of pain and doubt
But I can't hear you scream or shout
You're in so deep
I wanna pull you to your feet
But you've stayed so still
No sound, no shrill

I'll always offer you a hand
But I can't find you in the sinking sand

I feel so helpless
I'm crying out of stress
But its not because of you
Its cos I don't know what to do

I want to save you from the pain
But I know you're ready to leave the shame
Your shame of your existence
And you don't believe my insistence
But I've meant every word
I wish youd trust what you heard

I need you to be here
More than just a caring ear
More than just your 'part' 
More than my own heart

I need you to hear
I want you here
Every part of yourself
Even if you need help
I'll always care
Even while I'm not there
