Success

This is a poem from my soul and heart.....

Someone said earning honour is success ,

Other said earning money is success , 

Yet another said earning position in society is success ,

But i said

Earning happiness is what is success.

                                                                 Success is the enchanting word ,

                                                                 the bewildering noun ,

                                                                 the horrifying feeling ,

                                                                 and the beautiful treasure.

For what a student wakes till night

Takes water on his sleepy face and again studies ,

A dancer though tired

practices his dance ,

A musician pains his throat

But again and again sings his song ,

This is success.

                                                               The meaning of success might vary ,

                                                                But the centre of attraction it offers

                                                                is the same be it Anne or Mary ,

                                                      

Someone wise said

Running behind money is what makes you mad

but in every work searching for satisfaction , 

is what makes your every reaction a successful action.........

I like your thoughts on the topic success. I abs agree with you that success is happiness. From experience I can tell, that all material stuff and/or serving/functioning for the society alone isn't satifying enough when it doesn't make one happy.
