Intertwined

Intertwined

A Poem by kristen0928

If souls are meant to be together
Ours are already intertwined

Every moment from the beginning
Until now and beyond
Fragments of me
have crept and dispersed into you
As you have to me

My mind has been open
My heart exposed and expanding
My body yours for the taking

Heartstrings of mine
Sway and tremble to a tune
Only you can sing
And I am
Always
Listening

Nicely portrayed... soulmates, two hearts singing the same song and beating to the same rhythm.

I like the intensity of the final two lines
Always
Listening

It is such a warming thought to imagine our souls connected with those we have yet to meet. Thank you for sharing.

About
I love writing and reading. I have trouble sleeping. I think too much and love too deep. I have too many feelings and ponderings about life, and write therapeutically (as I'm sure most people do) more..
