The HunterA Poem by Kristina Yoder
Hungry egos seek
fresh meat, a novel treat to appease their insatiable cravings- their stomach bigger than their eyes, right now digesting a sexy kitten with a side of fries. When just before, his prize was shaking to her core- a snack to which his eyes and fists had bored. Later on he'll keep going, clawing, tearing, fleshing out the insides- 'til the heads on his walls are lined up like trophies, all beside his trophy wife, unknowing of her hunter's ways- who'll continue to enjoy her comfy summer daze. © 2025 Kristina Yoder |
