dialogue with oneself

dialogue with oneself

A Poem by Ksu88

What will others think of me?
Does it matter to you, truly?
Be yourself, open to the world,
Your feelings aren't a trifle, surely.

So what if people speak their mind?
Don't you just not give a dime?
Even if they judge you, see?
Let them chatter all the time.

In my head, there's always two:
A timid, brave soul, it's true,
I hold a dialogue within, but
My heart demands a rebel's view.

Exhale-inhale, now, just relax,
Beauty dwells inside, no lacks,
Don't fear foreign tongues, it's clear,
People label all, my dears.

Believe in yourself, all's in reach,
Choose your destiny, I beseech,
Let your anxiety take flight,
Be yourself, with all your might.
