Uncover the disparate faces of me.

Yet the common center of such distinct parts,

Unveils a design of architectural

so there is symmetry in our asymmetry? I can't fathom what your inspiration was..but it's very thought-provoking. What we often find to be so complicated...is actually whole...complete..and perfect. It's the human condition to see ourselves in fragments. God saw us as whole...so why don't we?

Paradoxes and complexities make us all up as well as all the layers of our interaction with the world. It's easy to feel lost in the multiplicity but higher understanding gives us the vantage point to see the fractal as a whole and see the beauty of it and the design of it. Funny how people can write poems and then attach pictures to them. lol

Yes and no... I put up the "chambered nautilus pen on my profile page. I have always identified with Nautilus Shells sine reading that poem many years ago. One appears in my mythical story,"My Merry Maid and Me." So I was writing it and looking for a picture to go along with it, and it fit soooo perfectly. I was struck by the symmetry, so the last line was definitely inspired by the picture.It all kind of came together.

Lol i just read the poem by "Oliver Wendell Holmes".

I have seen people pen their poem and then look for a picture; I tried that once and a kid said the picture does not match.
The original picture I wanted to use for another poem.
I gave up and posted the actual picture on which the poem was written.
But your last line was good as a cover up hahahahahahhahahahaha.
