Magnum OpusA Poem by NautiliDo not tell me you love me with an airy kiss placed absentmindedly upon my brow, as you leave to court the daylight; frenetic attempts to fulfill her capricious demands. Kiss me fiercely, firmly upon parted lips, as though you can not abide the absence between- as though your profession, which insists upon your committed attention, ( like a jealous lover desiring your capable touch ) can not compare with what awaits in the night, Your hair caressed with cool, soothing fingers, your weary head warm upon my lap.
