Doubt, fear, lost thoughts, gathering inside and now they ask the inner question, will I, can I, should I, I must, I will, I have, I am alive and yet I am dead, I need to live past this emotion to it's end. Nice write,,,,,
oh my this is brilliant. crimson cords is seriously clever. this goes to music perfectly like a counting crows tune. unfortunately i was in the middle of a library singing your poem. wasn't a big deal until people clapped at the end. anyway great poem.

soul"~ Excellent Stanza!...Latching the door to contain the fire and protect if from the wind is a fantastic metaphor...
