OH YOU REFUGEES

OH YOU REFUGEES

A Poem by kurrupted

As the cold morning wind blew, clinging your clothes to your body

I saw you in thousands like ants threading to never land

As the scorching sun bakes the earth,

Hunger and exhaustion took there toll, men like women and women like something else. with no shoes, you all with crevices threaded to never land

The dark clouds of starvation and dehydration blowing, cruelly it snatches away your beloved children from you,

For the threading is, your death begun,

I saw in you the cruel face of war.
