WHO AM I ?

WHO AM I ?

A Poem by kurrupted

In the moonless night I sat outside,

My head rose to the sky,

My eyes gazing into the infinite galaxy,

Limitless and not bordered,

In the thick woods of mine mind I wandered,

“Who am i?” I wondered,

But I got lost as I pondered,

“How can I be me?”

Pardon me,

My strange words intend not to, demean

For I am a victim of time subject to continuous change,

From a baby,

To a boy,

To a man today,

Surely, the me of yesterday,

Isn’t me of today,

And will never be the same me tomorrow,

Time!

   Oh time!

      Oh time!

I know as I live through you each day,

Homage to you I must pay,

And that is by bowing to change like i say,

Making me a subject to temporal change, nay

I ask you oh time

“Who am I?”

I wonder how many people have thought about the question who am i?
Its like a poem about self discovery...will i find out who i am in the end.
I like your choice of words in this piece, the first stanza was like talking to yourself.

Hmm, I liked this, finding yourself, one of the things most people write about, and people ussually only write about what they know.
