Step into Reality

What???

Step into my reality and you will see

sometimes it's scary, even to me

it can be so loving and so unique

making ugliness obsolete

My reality is a perception of sorts

it could be passed by the highest of courts

love, hope, dreams, should I go on?

doesn't it sound like you favorite song

a scary reality will hit me in the gut

when it comes in waves my doors I will shut

I try to hide in the closet and not peek

but it will come after me to seek

the truth of my mind

as I try to unwind

get my sensibilities

and the possibilities

take a peek in my mind 

and you will find

it's a dasdardly deed

of which we perceive

love or war
