Is it God?

My Daughters Death

Does God just watch evil men do evil deeds really

could He stand by and let these things happen like crazy

does He make us suffer some things especially

or is it because we need to because our hearts get lazy

I've asked why can it  happen to those that are good

what is it that this means to mankind and maybe we aren't to know

maybe if we could know and we should

it would be easier and not such a blow

death is too hard to accept in the first place

a tragedy is no one's reality

it makes the heart feel like such a waste

it robs you of your dignity

the grief, the pain, the loss too

caring and feeling and wailing 

can't stop and makes you so blue

sends you in circles with your arms flailing 

God give me an answer so I won't hurt

I know you are loving and caring

I know you call them home and we put them in the dirt

lest I ask you these questions and be so daring
