Apple pie for Thanksgiving

Homemade apple pie

                           what will we do for apple pie

                           she's not here and we all know why

                           she loved to bake and to cook

                           she was such an open book

                           what will we do for apple pie

                           knowing that this Thanksgiving she's in the sky

                           could she come down to bake her favorite things

                           she could go back when the bell rings

                           we'll miss her food that taste so good

                           and miss her most of all as we shoulld

                           it won't be the same without her here

                           I really can't believe she won't be near

                           we'll do without any apple pie

                           this Thanksgiving and we all know why

                           and be grateful for the time we had

                           not having her here is pretty sad
