You never know

when life will change

Life can change in an instant sometimes

like a bad dream, not like nursery rhymes

everything can go a long smooth

you really think you're in the groove

but instead of stepping on the gas you hit the brake

you don't know if life's just made a terrible mistake

broke your heart plum in two

just made a ghost out of you

maybe you will never understand 

and why it messed up your plans

how death can halt your life

make everything strife

death can stop you in your tracks

it can be what happens when danger attracts

when people's lives are attacked

it lays you up in the rack

eternity no longer exists

you want to exit

why such a change?
