Without love where does the soul go

No shore to land to roam or to know

Fighting the losing battle of the self within

togetherness never to begin

No love to recognise 

in anyone's eyes

to feel a heart beating

a voice fleeting

No matter how serene

To have a dream

begin a past

be home at last

Without love what can it be

To be lost in the sea

Never to know

The heart's glow
