I was so glad to see you happy and well

I saw your exuberance, I could tell

When you saw me you lit up and glowed

I was waiting for the rest to unfold

I felt the love coming from you

It thrilled me so much too

I'm so glad I was with you

It was too good to be true

Then I woke up and it was all gone

Tell me God was it so wrong?

I want to be with her you know

Was this your way for me to let go?

I'm sad once again because we're apart

You know God that she has my heart

I want to be with her forever
