My Happy Place

My attempt at a happy poem..

The colors are bright

A happy spot in my day

The glorious light

I see as I lay

 

Asleep in the grass

Inside my own peaceful meadow

A thick piece of glass

Between me and my sorrow

 

The tulips grow tall

My own peaceful place

A cotton candy wall

A beautiful face

 

SKipping through the flowers

As a butterfly passes

A quick summer shower

Gives the leaves dew drop glasses

 

A beautiful time 

A wonderful date

This is all mine

My very own fate
