The Reason I Wrote This Poem...

This is really cool!!! (Just saying...)

I wrote this because, on a cool springtime day,

I got all light-headed and weak in the knees,

I made a connection, my mind far away,

yet close to the bird songs and buds on the trees.

Immobile, I stood there, I'd caught a contagion:

emotions I'd never encountered before.

So pay close attention to my revelation:

Just kidding! I wrote this because I was bored:)
