Have you taken the time to smell my roses?

I woke up this morning

with thoughts of  how

I spent the night before with you in my dreams

holding me so  gently  and dearly

 

Take time to smell my roses

 

I laughed and laughed

At times when I think of you

your  quirky sense of humor

 Or when I romanticize

of our emotional foreplay

sex could never equal up to this as I lay embraced by the warmth of your heart

 

Take time to smell my roses

 

When I calculated if we could be together for eternity

I do want to say this 'when you think  of me 

let the games cease'

I could love you  beyond mortality

because the  river of love I have for you flows that deep

 

When you embrace me 

 do more than  embrace me

But take time to smell my roses

They smell as sweet

as sweet if love has scent 

I believe it would smell as fresh honey blowing in tropical breeze

 

take time to smell my roses

close your eyes and inhale

then by instinct you'd relieze my fragrance says  ...."I love you"
