A Poem by Wingless Fallen Angel

You were afraid to say everything I needed to hear. So I said what you didn't.

Nothing you say

Can make it go away.

How you didn't speak

How you didn't say.

Tears fall down from deep brown eyes

She hates herself

Because she must SPEAK.

All the words you don't want to hear

Because you succumbed

To your fears.

It does sound somewhat forced; yet that is the point in a way. She desired for him to say so much and his fear kept him from voicing now she is saying what needs to be said. Whether this is a new beginning or an ending fear often stops our progress in life.
I like it.
