LupineA Poem by Wingless Fallen Angel
Honey eyes stare into the night
A grey pelt ruffled by wind. Teeth are bared in a the silent vow Of vengeance. Furred ears turn like an owl's head. Slowly Silently Taking it all in. Snow drifts lazily down Covering tracks of a lupine prowl. A howl Muzzle turned up into a silent plea Breath taken in And expelled In a musical note A sad and lonely hymn.
