Savior

Savior

A by L. Alcantara

Guidance. All the while I thought I have it. My parents have always provided it. But for some reason, why am I seeking it? Who shall give it to me? What do I need to be told? Do I need a slap or two? How is it possible to feel alone is a crowd... I want to scream. Will anyone look? Of course. Will anyone help? Yes. Will they understand? I hope they try...

Couldn't just a hand reach out to me amidst the chaotic spinning of my world? Couldn't a voice shout out my name above the incessant noise from the swirl of lips that overwhelms me? Couldn't one familiar face smile at me in the middle of a faceless blur?

Someone find me. Please. I'm looking for you.

A very interesting monologue, with good potential as a very hooking start to a story. I like the way you express this character as I was very much taken in with this plea, and the voice behind it. It draws your attention. I love the variations in sentence length and structure as it doesn't sound rehearsed, more of a private thought filtering through, real life and gripping. As I say this may be a start to a very interesting story.
