To know my laughter

Echoes behind its prison

Of teeth;

Enhancements

Unto the portrait of

Your features:

The empty jail

Of your eyes.

The sun:

Merely a reflection

From your pupils;

Which silhouetted

Harmonic lullabies:

Riddles;

Mysterious as

Your intricate intestines.

I flutter within you;

A butterfly

Trapped in the cocoon

Of your liver;

An angel's cerebellum;

Tickling your stomach.

Might you allow

Love to caress your fingers?

Everything resonating

Outwards is but a
Lonesome heartbeat:

A plea to escape

Damp corridors

Of memory, reluctance;

To escape into the warmth

Of your lips;

Perhaps, an offer

For you to join me?
