Butterfly

Butterfly

A Poem by Tai Ryens

Butterfly, Butterfly, tell me,

How many other people have you seen?

How many others are there like me,

Sitting alone with ruined self-esteem?

How many faces have you witnessed?
How many cities have you passed?
How many people have you made happy?
How many more days will you last?

Tell me all the stories you've heard,

Are there others who vent to you like me?
Please, answer my question,

I feel all alone, you see.

Wait! Don't go!
Please don't start to flutter!
I'm all alone.

Who else will listen to my mutters?

I haven't finished venting,

I still have all these words to heave,

Please, don't go to another person...

Please... Don't leave.

Just something quick I thought up when a butterfly passed me. I started to wonder how many other people this little insect passed, haha x3

Haha. I love it. It sounds so youthful. :"> I cant really say a lot except that it just made me smile from start to finish even if this poem is a bit melancholic. Really well-written and into my favorites this goes. Haha. Keep on writing. :P
