This moment in life

Words that came as I stood in the sun

It's the sunlight
As the cracks in the concrete
Stretch
That pull me back in time
To a place I never really
Left
The assortment of clouds
That hover and float in the
Breeze
Bring about a meditation
Of peace that I never want to
Forget
And as this life bears down
Cumbersome in all its
Weight
I wonder just how often
I will remember and notice that I'm
Blessed
So I watch with a smile
As the sun reaches out to my
Face
And I accept with love
It's wonderfully warm
Caress
