MirrorA Poem by LapseOfMindJust another grouping of words
The soft glow of the moonlight
Has lost all its luster And as this scar tissue grows I'm left to wonder why Plastic skin left wanting Tinfoil lips that kindly whisper They say ignorance is bliss Yet you return with glass eyes Like a child with a spyglass I watch from afar Close enough for stone pilots To crash and burn in your sky No wasted moments of twilight Just time we let intertwine We're on stage for the witness Just actors, you and I © 2016 LapseOfMindReviews
