Limousine Dream

Limousine Dream

A Poem by Lana

Clogged nose full of Ginger
Smoking a cigarette with no filter
My laundry is clean for once I feel I can be seen
I wear my favorite thing
Filled with glitter and sin
Limousine dream
Follow me
As I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
I find life waiting for me in the end
I think the fresh air could help me think ahead

I used to brush my hair with my fingers
And as I did a rotten egg smell lingered
I washed it with shampoo made of liver
And everytime  I looked at myself in the mirror
I gasped and thought, oh boy this is over
And if you want to be a loser
You've got to have Something to lose
Somebody asked me why look for the worst?
I said I guess I just want to die
It's just a Limousine dream
My mind once said to me
You can't follow me
As I walked with wars in my psyche
I sometimes wished I could be dreaming of Nothing
If only I could fight against my dreams
Become its enemy
My nightmares would reward me

Limousine Dream
Limousine Dream
Don't pray
Punish

There is black tar on my teeth
Cinnamon stars in my tea
My dirty laundry used to smell like pee
Limousine dream
It followed me
As I walked with warts on my feet
Limousine Dream
Limousine Dream
Why don't you say it?
I was never meant to be average
Limouse Dream
Bring me to the edge of Something
