Untethered

Untethered

A Poem by lavigupt

I want to dance under the moonlight
Like the snow that dares to burn
Wild as fireflies
Weaving the magic grace,
in that cool breeze where the leaves thoth sing
In the starlight washed  night,
Lilies and roses, the forest blooming white
Beside the silver stream running
I want to roll and flow beneath the sea
Humming life without a breath
Boundless like the waves that roar
I never wanna be ashore
I wanna see the world at its very ends
Scream from mountain tops
Above  the clouds in the molten hues
Seek the heaven unheard of
Taste the wine of love forlon
Just like the sweet apple scent
Honeyed mead and maple bread
And find the place where mind and heart shall finally learn to dwell.
