Taste of love

It is ours only for today

A sweet indulgence to warmly savor

Only as long or as briefly as the gracious gods

Wish upon us this such delight

Though not always a gift enduring

The flavor of love

When sprinkled upon our senses

Enhances the grand experience of life

And those who love freely

Will always recall fondly

The taste of love
