Whith What do you juge a man bye.

I can't think of one.

At night I the rivers flow,
No body knows the loneliness
that I feel as I lay alone at night

My dog,helps me a little he does,
and thankful for him am I,

But, Long for a love a soul mate before  time calls ages fate.

Searched ad searched have I but, none to be found.

Why this lonely fate sealed for me,
It is like being locked in a darkened room ever hearing and never seeing,
Being bound with ropes that I can not seem to get free from,

Some say Love will come to you
some say it isn't meant to be

For the ones of the past have only saught Silver and gold,

Is there not one woman out there who can look beyond the things of the world,

is there not one woman who can remain faithful,

What society have we created where we judge a man by his possessions or by his looks.

Author's Note

It seems that while searching for a mate all I have noticed are the trends of looks, cars, and possessions is what a woman seeks after. I hear it on the bus, I see it in the personal online adds.

I don't intend to lump all women into this , It is just a personal observation from what i hear and see and what I have experienced.

I like how this is written..honest and true...to you. Woman we r a troubled lot. I think the older we get the less your poem is real. With age comes wisdom..then comes too old to attract a good man all grabbed up by the beauties we once were. Now we listen to your heart instead of the broadness of your shoulders.
