A letter to my future daughter

Hello Daughter,

I hope you look beautiful

I can only imagine

that my curls will be yours

I am sure you'll be a hand full

and when you take your first steps I'll be infront of you

 

Hello Daughter,

I hope you will know the happiness I had

and be warded away from the horrors I had

I can only imagine

that my strength will be yours

I know you'll be kind

and when you hurt I'll be there to kiss it away

 

Hello Daughter,

I hope you are as talented

and can create from nothing

I can only imagine

that you will write with your heart and soul as ink

And when you grow up

I'll be there to cheer you on

as you accomplish what I did or never did

I hope that you'll get to read this one day

and know that I wrote with my heart and soul

only for you
