Thinking Too Hard

Thinking Too Hard

A Poem by Eve
"

This is about one of my teachers that I get to spend my whole high school career with. He has saved my life just because he was there, by making me laugh. The only catch, he doesn't know.

"
At the end of everyday
I think of you
Every time I open it
I think of you
While you only think of me
When you see me
Only when you need to

My stories are for you
My hours of work are for you
While you get paid to care
You get paid to talk to me

I see you more than my father
I'm honest with you
Not my father
Maybe that's why I avoid you

I pretend I don't see you
Because I want you to see me
I pretend I don't notice you
Because I want you to notice me

I remind myself everyday
You don't care
You don't care
I'm only a student
Your daughter is at home
