I love you MORE!

A short letter/poem to my son who went to heaven in 2008.

My Dear Isaac,
a friend just lost her son
and her pain is so evident in her
writings on facebook.

I see the pain
I feel it.
There is nothing like holding your first child
Looking into their eyes
Promising to always be there for them.

Then one day that child leaves this world
before you.
The promise you made to keep him safe
was never yours to make.

As parents we take on this I am God attitude.
But as I learned only God is God.
Only he can show this mom who just lost her
son to live again.

She will turn to God and God will help
her through the pain and the nothingness.
Just like God and you helped me through
my dark clouds and horrific shadows.

The light will come out
the starts will shine
The Sun will be bright
and her JOY will return.

Isaac, it seems that my heart
just grows bigger the longer you are gone.
My heart loves deeper than ever.
I love you even more now.

Thank you for reviewing my poem. Its been a while since I wrote to him and he was on my mind. I know that God was listening to my heart as I wrote letters to him all during the pain. The journey to JOY and that specific path to get to the wonderful side where you realize they are still alive only at our real home is AMAZING! Now my goal is to get to heaven...to be home with him. Its been five years since Isaac left our lives.
It was a mess at first, but slowly God has brought healing to my heart.
As I see other mother's going through the endless pain,
I pray for them and know that it will all work out
when they understand that we don't die.
Just go to another dimension with God.
