The Fire Within

Used a flower which inspired me to get the fire going within me today!

The fire Within..

 

Just like this flower looks like

There is a fire glowing within its leaves.

God has created a fire within each one of us.

A gift unique to you.

Unique to me.

 

That dream,

The vision,

The ability to believe

That through one touch

We can be changed.

 

Going through the process was

Not easy

Nor was it wonderful.

But I am an open book.

God has brought me through the fire

Now I know that

Whatever comes, he is with me.

 

The tests are always there.

The trials will come.

But I have the Master’s hand

I am under the shadow of the almighty.

Not cowering

Not hiding

Not stepping back.

 

I am under the shadow of his protection

Each word and action

Which I take will be protected.

 

I don’t think like others around me

I don’t surround myself with the thinkers of less

I surround myself with imagination

Thinkers.

 

Faithwalkers.

Believers of the unseen

Walking through the valley

Sometimes its rainy

Sometimes its sunny.

 

But the outside weather

Never determines my

Inside weather.

 

The temperature outside cannot

Determine my attitude

Nor my actions.

Nor my determination level.

 

For you see, I am here

Temporarily.

Just walking through

Seeing the world

 

Living in the world

But never participating in its downward fall.

The government would warn you

That there are bugs out to get you.

 

The media will tell you

That the measles have arrived

They will warn you ahead of time.

They will try and scare you

About what to eat and what not to eat.

 

I eat when I want

Where I want

How I want.

 

They don’t tell me

What to do

What to think

How to do it

How to think.

 

You see…I am in the master’s plan.

He gave me the gift to decide where

I take this next.

He gave me the power to pursue.

He gave me the power to believe.

 

He is the master

Who deposits in me.

I am the receiver.

 

I am in his shadow and

With his fire I go forth!
