I had a friend I haven't seen for 3 years

I had a friend I haven't seen for 3 years

A Poem by letters to parvati

I had a friend I haven't seen for 3 years

She walked with no shoes

She cried with no tears

She left me a smoke pipe, a book, and a song

Then turned to the sun, and then she was gone

I'd rather not remember

It hurts to say her name

I lie to keep the secret of her life

When she'd gone and when she came

I don't care about her suffering

I don't care about her pain

Where's the peace pipe when you need it

And the dove
