Lost

Please don't loose yourself beneath all this.

A piece of paper cannot show you who you are

YOU must show yourself who you are.

 

I learned this the hard way,

when I mistakened myself for something I'm not.

 

Though, I am now lost

and don't know how to find my way back.

 

Many mistakes I have made in my life,

this would be the worst.

 

No one knows

who I am,

even I question myself.

 

As my time rolls on,

I learn more of myself I do not know.

 

Being lost,

is what you must call me.

I like the logic in the poem. I agree. Each of us is different and need more or less. I like your above lines. We will allow few people into our thoughts and dreams. I like the flow of thoughts leading to a strong ending. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
