On one's own

On one's own

A Poem by Lilaa

My body quivers as you
wrap both hands around
my tight waist, pulling
me closer to your chest
like the doings of a gaping mouth
of a black hole

Your hands tougher
than the skin of a leather
hide, your chest beating
vigorously as I push away
your sculptured anatomy away

I do not want this
I do not want a man
I do not crave your
very vitality around
my unsettled soul

I do not need the reminder
of pain, as life has already
attained the gap

Thank you so much for the feed back, honestly means so so much to me! God bless :)
I love your writing , I feel your struggle so well here ,
Sometimes , its better to let go , accept , your wishes , maybe , need to stop fighting
Memories will always stay there , but you , you will move on
