Just a word

I wrote this my junior year of high school after I found out my mom had colon cancer

Mommy hold on tight
be strong and i will pray
dont give up on what we have
for what the doctors have to say
its scary just the though
but God will ease your pain
Cancers just a word
the devils game he plays
Dear God, help her please
get through this battle safe
be there to hold her hand
give her strength and faith
take the pain inside
and throw it all away
just help her to be strong
in Jesus name i pray.
