Little Bird

Little Bird

A Poem by SpiceCookie
"

Fly away, little bird.

"
Little bird just out of the egg,
Open your eyes and stretch your legs.
Come see the world above your covers,
Come and meet your beautiful mother.

Little bird step out of the nest,
Try to play; you've had enough rest.
Hop around and flap your wings,
Learn to fly however you please.

Little bird find a little bug,
The tasty taste, the pride and the love.
Share with your sister, share with your brother,
Your mother can reward you with another.

Little bird first flight around,
Sing a song and make your sound.
Carefully fly up and hover,
Soon you'll meet a wonderful lover.

Fly away little bird, fly away.
