Wild Winds

Wind blowing fiercely in the back of her,Dark and wild storm is on it's way...She strides on,walking hard,fighting the wind for balance..She was on the run,In her mind,within her amazing spirit,She was running...Not sure as to where she was going,but she would never stop.When you slow down,that is when they find you and strip you,Expose you,with all of your Fears and Weaknesses!!!They will swiftly zero in on you and strip you for it all!!Vultures and thieves,crooked...She is now Safe,The pace is within her rhythm,Love songs and birds sing...New life and Old life,Cold and despair Tarnished  and yet Rare...Life screams inside her...The glow in her eyes.The light on her face,She's kept the pace and Never stayed down...Her Victory is Life,She is her Future!!!

The last two lines sum up this poem quite nicely and the whole poem has a unique feel to it. The words are ones that convey your thoughts clearly. We can't out run our past but be can run towards our futures with open arms. That is what truly makes us strong and who we are. I love the last few lines of the poem. You did a great job when you wrote this one.
