my whole existence is nothing but a small fragment of matter

I have very little

I am very little

in the grand scheme of things

we are very small beings in a huge universe

maybe things wont matter in the end

maybe what you and I think doesn't matter

but

I still care what you think

I still care about what goes on with you

and how you feel

and I hope,

even though we are so small and so non influential,

that I at least meant something to you

Wow this is truly an amazing poem, I really really like this. The way you portrayed your feelings and all that is really amazing, I make a lot of this poems about existence. We are little, only a tiny fragment of the universe, even though we are that, we wonder if we mean something that our special person. The world is so vast and full of wonders and lots of people we meet everyday but we are literally nothing compared to whats beyond earth.
The last two parts of the poem summed it all up, do we mean at least a bit to a person whom we've dedicated our love to or to someone else? no one knows.
Btw: Love the authors note, sounds like something I would say! lol

WOW! I liked that! We are very small in the scheme of this world, yet we all play a large roll in lives of others...but we would rather mean more to everything to one person and nothing to world then be nothing to that ONE PERSON and really important in the world...At least that's me (:
