What day is it?

What day is it?

A Poem by Donald Meikle

Someday I'll pen a poem

One that will cause me to pause and

Wonder  at its birth of worth

Someday maybe at the wee hours

Of a Sunday Fall morning's dawning

When I'm feeling small and all

In a world of  quiet

In trustful soft hope

Today?

Hi Donald,
Don't know why your name sounds so familiar, but I liked your piece. Yes..someday that Master Piece will come flowing out. Every Writer's hope. Good Job..

I like how you wrote this poem, it is about your looking back at life and world, and wondering about it every day anew.

A lot of writers would feel for this. I myself feel like I want to keep writing and writing, but yet I know I not everything I write is of worth. Sitting there wondering what my next piece could be. Nice.
