Smile

Smile

A Poem by Donald Meikle

Were you ever alone really alone?
No one to worry about
No one to care
No one to guide, point the way, advise.

It doesnt take a desert Or a barren wasteland
It can happen on a city street At a busy time of day

Your phone battery went dead or
You slept through three stops

What to do first?

Relax
Smile

look around

How many people are wishing? For what you have?

Dont worry No one will ever know

Try to stop smiling

You were never alone

I like this and have put it in my favorites. Today it made me smile and think how many times we get upset ... for nothing.... Take the time to appreciate and take the time to say hey.... I am a part of this place right here and now. I have not felt truly alone too many times in my life - most times I feel like I know a secret.... because I might..... haha.....

Really like the whimsical smiley feel of this. Thank you so much for arranging these words....
