DeathA Poem by Donald MeikleNeedless..........................It's an old one reposted
All those stars are suns
All of them have planets None of them have life A pessimist would think it a grave yard An optimist would think it a challenge Everyone should be made aware of what it is Death Beautiful in its complexity But dead to the world Anyone contemplating destruction Or pollution should first look up Into the dead of night Then take a sip of water This is simply Frustration at man and his obsession with religion his denial of reality forever ignoring or hindering seekers of knowledge laughing at followers of reason when every night it's there to see © 2008 Donald MeikleReviews
