Caught Up Again

Caught Up Again

A Poem by Donald Meikle
"

A try at speaking the joy and torture of creation telling where it comes from and how it slips from experimentation to addiction

"
Talent bubbling up from ghi
Forming a sensual column of curling
fluting to wings in fast hug of rising
A smoke ring to shape in high moment of pleasure
Not yet a burden fast turning to work
Following grain of a life time of reaching
out of cold earth into shimmering sunlight
Like rippling watery history flickering
Into sensations far beyond feeling
Fingering flowingly timelessly reeling
In breath holding thrall of instant creation
stand back and look at what need has resulted
wonder where when this surrender occurred
